Crow’s feet.
The orbicularis oculi is a ring of muscle around the eye. It closes your eyelid, and it squeezes when you smile. The lines that fan out from the outer corner are that squeeze, printed into skin that is the thinnest on the body.
What treatment does, and what it deliberately leaves alone
A few small injections into the lateral fibers of the orbicularis soften the fan. Effect over about two weeks, lasting three to four months.
The thing worth understanding: the eye is where a genuine smile lives. The crinkle at the corner is the part of a smile people read as sincere — a smile without it registers as polite rather than warm, even if the viewer cannot say why. Dosing this area to zero movement is the most common way a face ends up looking treated.
So we dose to soften, not to erase, and we ask you how much crinkle you want to keep.
When the answer is not neuromodulator
Crepey texture under the eye, fine lines visible at complete rest, and skin laxity are not muscle problems. Relaxing the orbicularis does very little for them.
Those respond to resurfacing, to fractional treatment, and to time — not to more units. If your concern is texture rather than movement, we will point you toward laser and light or RF microneedling instead of selling you a treatment that will not do it.

Will this help the lines under my eye?
Partially at most. Under-eye lines are usually texture and skin quality, not muscle pull. Be skeptical of anyone who says otherwise.
Can this cause a droopy eyelid?
Lid ptosis comes from product reaching the levator, which is a placement issue in the upper lid, not the lateral orbicularis. Injecting too close to the lower lid can cause a different problem — lower lid weakness or a change in how the eye closes. Both are avoidable with correct placement, and both are temporary.
