Forehead lines.
Horizontal forehead lines come from one muscle: the frontalis. It is the only muscle that lifts your eyebrows, and every time it does, it folds the skin above it. Do that a few hundred thousand times and the fold stops unfolding.
Why the forehead is the area to be careful with
Here is the thing most people are never told. If you relax the frontalis without accounting for the muscles that pull the brow down — the corrugators and procerus between your brows, and the orbicularis around the eye — you remove the only lifter and leave the depressors unopposed. The brow drops. The upper lid looks heavier. The lines are gone and the face looks tired.
This is why forehead and glabella are usually treated together, and why the forehead is often the area that gets the least product rather than the most. It is also why a heavy or already-low brow changes the plan entirely — sometimes to treating the glabella alone and leaving the frontalis mostly untouched.
What treatment looks like
Small aliquots across the frontalis, dosed to the strength of your muscle and the height of your brow, almost always alongside glabellar treatment. Effect builds over about two weeks and lasts roughly three to four months.
Deep static lines — the ones visible with your face completely at rest — respond partially. Relaxing the muscle stops them deepening and softens them over successive treatments as the skin gets a break from folding. It does not iron them out. Etched lines that have been there for decades may need resurfacing to change materially, and we will say so rather than selling you more units.

Will I be unable to raise my eyebrows?
That is a dosing choice, not an inevitability. Tell us how much movement you want to keep. Most people want some.
Why did my last treatment make my brows feel heavy?
Most often, the frontalis was treated too heavily relative to the depressors. It is correctable in planning next time.
